Frank W. May

Frank May has spent a lifetime collecting stories—some funny, some heartbreaking, and many that seem almost too remarkable to be true.

A former police officer, entrepreneur, and business executive, Frank has worn many hats over the years. But storytelling has always been part of who he is.

Now in his seventies, Frank is turning a lifetime of experiences, observations, and imagination into books. His debut novel, Five Again Days, explores the power of memory, the choices we make, and the extraordinary possibility of revisiting five days of our lives.

Born in Chicago, Frank now lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with Barbara, his wife of more than 51 years. They have three children and five grandchildren.

He also writes Frankly Speaking—Life After 70, a weekly column published on Substack every Monday morning, sharing his reflections on life, family, aging, and the occasional absurdity of it all.

For Frank, the stories are far from over. Family and lifelong friendships still fuel his writings. He has finished a second novel that he hopes to publish by Thanksgiving and is working on a third as well as a children's (ages 3-7) series of picture books that feature both family members, friends, and the remarkable stories they've shared.
